Surrey is the largest city in the lower mainland by land mass and second largest by population. Just east of the Portmann Bridge, south of the Fraser River bordering on White Rock, and conveniently one the closest municipalities to downtown Vancouver of all the Fraser Valley cities. Incredibly diverse, Surrey hosts a multitude of cultures in the six communities including Cloverdale, Fleetwood, Guildford, Newton, South Surrey and City Centre (Whalley).
Surrey is home to a massive urban forest (Green Timbers Urban Forest) as well as rolling farmlands, other vast green spaces, and beaches making Surrey very attractive to nature enthusiasts, growing families, and very diverse cultures all while still providing all of the big city amenities.
